Diehl & Rodewald has significant expertise in advising clients with large agricultural land holdings. We serve as general counsel for the historic Quien Sabe Ranch which is one of the largest private land holdings in California. Our representation of both large and small agricultural properties involves issues unique to working agricultural operations. We have provided legal assistance in transactions involving grazing of livestock, sale of livestock and dedication of property for open space and conservation easements. The firm has extensive experience in representing vineyard owners and wine producers. We have represented our clients in the acquisition of vineyard properties, the leasing of vineyard lands, sales of grapes, the formation of wine production facilities and the business entities which support those operations.
